The Appledore Drive In Book Festival opening night event as celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott takes to the stage for a night of Mediterranean food, stories and music. The festival, thought to be the UK’s first-ever drive in book festival, will kick off in earnest on the morning of Friday 18 September and run until Tuesday 22 September with five events each day.
