Tintagel Castle is a medieval fortification on top of the peninsula of Tintagel Island adjacent to the village of Tintagel in North Cornwall. The new cantilever footbridge that now connects the castle ruins with the mainland was designed by Ney & Partners Civil Engineers and William Matthews Associates.
