The Dartmoor pony is a breed that is native to the British Isles. They can be found roaming the moorlands of Dartmoor National Park in Devon.
A short walk across the cliff tops from Hartland Quay is Speke's Mill Mouth Waterfall. The falls plunge 48 metres from the top to the beach below in three steps.
The 'Mollie Hunt', Appledore's Tamar-class lifeboat, moored alongside the quay at Appleore in North Devon whilst her crew finish a Sunday morning training session. Appledore is the busiest lifeboat station on the Bristol Channel.
