The cobbled streets and quaint harbour in the picturesque North Devon village of Clovelley was a stunning backdrop for a festive light celebration on Sunday 2nd December. Fortunately, the predicted rain and high winds stayed away as the crowd enjoyed Xmas carols, singers and a brass band followed by lighting the Xmas lights and a firework display. With all proceeds going to the RNLI, who have a station at Clovelley, it was fitting that the giant Xmas tree centrepiece was constructed from fishing nets, buoys, lobster and crab pots and even a pair of oars!
